Bridging the Divide Over Tough Topics Series 2018
We live in a time of deep divisions over critical issues. Can we disagree and still find common ground? We see news reports, political debates, and demonstrations where strong opinions lead to heated arguments. Personal attacks and name-calling replace respect and civility when we stop listening to each other. In January, we will start a new 6-week series called “Bridging the Divide Over Tough Topics.” If we see ourselves and one another as God sees us, then the church can be a place to tear down walls and build bridges. During this series, I will also lead an adult discussion group on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. in the Parlor.
